Exposed Brick...

Exposed brick walls
are on most people's
design wish list.

 Here are some tips
when you are lucky enough
to have an interior brick wall.

How do I hang a picture, canvas or wall art on my brick wall?

Your typical hammer & nails can make the mortar crumble so using a masonry drill bit is the best option.
You should drill into the mortar and not the brick itself.

Can I paint my brick wall?

Yes you can, first you need to make sure the surface is clean & dry and in good shape.
Use a masonry primer and an acrylic topcoat.
Using a sprayer is the best way to paint over brick, it ensures even paint distribution.
If you do not have access to a paint sprayer talk to your painting specialist for the proper roller.

Is there a way to remove paint from my interior brick walls?

Sandblasting works well but is extremely messy so it is often only used on exterior walls.
Another option is to use a paint thinner containing muriatic acid.
This will allow you to remove the paint without damaging the brick.
Make sure to keep your room well ventilated when using paint thinners.
